nce, multiple-database access control and security management solution ideal for multi-regional or multi-national applications that require centralized or decentralized monitoring and database administration.
The unique feature of the AMAG Global edition is its regionally distributed database architecture that supports multiple servers using a centralized cardholder database. Its distributed architecture ensures that the regional servers will continue to operate in the event of network failure.
The AMAG Global Edition is the most cost-effective regionally distributed architecture solution available because it allows customers to choose between the Microsoft® royalty-free MSDE or licensed SQL Server 2000 database engines at the regional level.
AMAG Global supports an unlimited number of readers and clients and is compatible with Windows® 2000 and XP operating systems. It uses Microsoft SQL Server 2000 to provide unrestricted scalability and supports Redundant Server "Hot Standby Fail Over" using Microsoft Clustering Services.
AMAG Global provides secure, efficient networking capabilities that enable multiple operators to administer the system simultaneously from different locations via a local (LAN) or wide (WAN) area network. The AMAG Global is designed to work with routers, use point-to-point messaging and use minimal bandwidth.
The AMAG Global edition is designed to be used with AMAG´s MultiNODE range of intelligent controllers to provide a turnkey access control and alarms monitoring solution. When your company expands, the AMAG Global can scale to include an unlimited number of clients, readers and cardholders and up to 999 regional servers.

AMAG Global is fully compatible with all of AMAG security management enhancement modules. AMAG´s Video Badging and Visitor Management modules are included as standard features in the AMAG Global edition.
